Map to Clean Seychelles is building a circular economy ecosystem that connects waste producers, collection sites, local businesses, and consumers for a cleaner, more sustainable future.
To create a sustainable waste management platform that empowers communities in Seychelles to reduce waste, support local businesses, and build a thriving circular economy through technology and collaboration.
A Seychelles where waste is seen as a resource, where every citizen participates in recycling, and where creative local businesses transform discarded materials into beautiful, valuable products.
How Map to Clean Seychelles came to be
In 2024, a group of environmentalists and tech entrepreneurs in Seychelles recognized a critical challenge: despite being a paradise island nation, Seychelles was struggling with waste management. Traditional recycling infrastructure was limited, and valuable recyclable materials were ending up in landfills.
At the same time, talented local businesses were creating beautiful upcycled products but lacked access to both materials and customers. Collection sites for recyclable materials had few buyers, and consumers who wanted to support sustainability had limited options.
Map to Clean Seychelles was born from the idea that technology could connect all these stakeholders in a way that benefits everyone. We built a platform that makes waste collection convenient for households, provides steady income for collection sites and drivers, gives local businesses access to materials and markets, and offers consumers unique sustainable products.
Today, we're proud to be part of Seychelles' journey toward a zero-waste future, one pickup, one creation, and one purchase at a time.
